Picking

Pic N' Paint uses a webcam to capture the color of anything you point it at.

Processing

It then process the pixels of the picture. The pixels colors are averaged into a single RGB value, which is then converted to CMY values. The image is then compared to a pure white value to correct for lighting. The program then distributes these values into equations, which create ratios of cyan, magenta, yellow, and white paint.

Painting

These ratios are converted into milliliters and CNC axes compress syringes to dispenses the correct amount of each color through tubing into a container.
